What’s more, the media needs to demand Chief Dolan talk to them. He was out of town and unavailable to comment right after the shooting, too. This is not a story that should “go away quietly.” There needs to be much more attention paid to it (a link on the home page? NOT ENOUGH!) and a formal investigation by the AG needs to follow.

I read the Strib about four times a day and never saw it on their home page. Again, that’s purely anecdotal, but from what you’re saying here there was only a link. This needs to be THE top story.
