She made a lot of money, but not that much. I think pendulum is right on, around $340k. $340k or $600k is a lot of money, but being the director of a big non-profit completely takes over your life. You travel a lot, and not in a fun way. You often have to hob-nob with people you probably don't really feel like having to rub elbows with. Your entire social life is focused around and institution, and your responsible for making ends meet for a lot of artists and staff. So, yeah, $600K is a lot, probably too much, but somewhere in the lower six figure range isn't unreasonable at all. Kathy Halbreich did not make $585K. She made a lot of money, but not that much.
