That was reported several months ago, and Jason answered it last night too. He won't get paid until he's officially sworn in. Interestingly, I read yesterday that he can take an oath of office from a local judge, and would then have an official budget so he could immediately hire staffers. But, he won't be able to vote or do some other official duties until sworn in at the Senate. Jane, no he won’t. That was reported several months ago, and Jason answered it last night too.

He won’t get paid until he’s officially sworn in.
