The place smelled like greasy food and the seating area reminded me of a doctor's office waiting room with tables. It was very odd, but not without potential. He was a nice guy, and those sausage breakfast sandwiches were quite good. But I think the guy running the place wasn't quite sure what niche to fill. He had his hands in the pizza biz, breakfast sandwiches, delivery, etc. Had he refined his message/atmosphere/purpose a bit more, I think he could have done ok even with no access for southbound traffic... Plus you are right, the interior was shabby, and randomly decorated. I used to frequent there in the mornings for coffee and breakfast.
