Any surprises? No. Note that the tiny turnout makes it very unlikely that anyone could ever beat an incumbent. Why not move these races to presidential election years?

Rather than that (and wind up with a 10-page ballot), why not just put up billboards that say “Didn’t vote? Then STFU!”

I don’t live in Minneapolis, but I enjoyed this tidbit. An “is Awesome” party.

Non-voter here. I believe my interest in the novelty of IRV was expressed yesterday, but that was trumped by a long day of work, class, more work, and then getting home just before the polls close. After 8, there were more interesting things to do, like taking a shower and eating dinner.

If I was supposed to care about Amendment 168, I didn’t. As an issue, it was completely unknown to me before yesterday, and even then I only gathered that it has something to do with the Board of Estimation, Taxation, Brunch, Garden Hoses, and Zzzzzzzzzzzz……..

Rybak is officialy in the Governor’s Mansion Sweepstakes now.
