@Bixby: I think the removal of the category has less to do with illegal sex between consenting adults than it does with the recent spat of murders committed by a fringe element of psychopaths.

But if crime prevention is the goal, a few other Craigslist categories should be reviewed. There are plenty of stories about about robberies and such being committed via Craigslist “free” listings, too.

I’m just sayin’.
