Bachmann and Swine Flu

Except didn’t the Swine Flu out break started under Prez. Ford and he was the one that ordered the Swine flu shot campaign?

Yep – the ultra extra special stupidity of Bachmann’s comment is that the last Swine flu broke out under Ford – a republican president. Carter did continue the vaccinations into his administration.

Bachmann’s not sayin’, she’s just sayin’

Brain Flu has broken out in Bachmann’s district twice. And it just so happens she was running for election both times. How…Interesting.

And then we have Michelle Malkin blaming the spread on unchecked illegal immigrants into the US.

Never mind that it actually appears to have been brought here by some catholic school girls from Queens, NY. (at the very least, it was US tourists, not illegal immigrants)

I love my district six and my crazy Minnesota girl.

Wait, why didn’t the much-hated Bill Clinton know about this tradition? Jeezziz she’s goofy.

I wonder if Michele has ever given thought to what viruses were spreading between animal and humans back when we lived among the dinosaurs? Was a Democrat president back then, too?

I know Republicans likw to blame the entirety of the 70’s on Carter, but c’mon. Also, would someone remind her of Reagan’s non-response to AIDs?

Damn it…

That was only 6,000 years ago, noodleman; much more recent than the foundation of the Democratic Party, which was, as you know, founded by Satan, Beelzebub and the rebel angels in their first rebellion against Heaven and cast into Tartarus.

All this stuff is at the Creation Museum; look it up! Its all notated!

So, is Michelle responsible for the case of swine flu that was reported in Cold Spring? That’s her district.

Interesting…

From a Huffington Post comment, re: Bachmann: Had Moses inflicted her on Ramses [first] all the other plagues would have been unnecessary.

ROTFLMAO

Jebus, the woman just can’t stop proving that she’s either an idiot, or just doesn’t give a damn if she lies.

In addition to this, yesterday she also blamed  the Great Depression on FDR’s “Hoot-Smalley” Tariff act.

Never mind that:

1. It’s Smoot-Hawley, and it was named after two REPUBLICANS who wrote the damn thing.

2. The Depression had already settled in before FDR took office.

She is the epitome of “truthiness”. Why she doesn’t appear regularly on Colbert is a mystery. Perhaps she is too much…

Of course any time somebody like Bachmann says something inane, the conservative response is to blame the liberal media for, um, quoting her.

WHO moves to phase 5 alert, meaning wide spread human to human transmission. Phase 6 is widespread pandemic (or, as Michelle might put it Pandemic = Dem Panic).

More like Panic-derm = GOP elephant.

So, while we don’t panic when 34,000 Americans die each year of seasonal influenza, we start to go ape sh*t when there are, so far, fewer than 200 deaths worldwide from H1N1?

What am I missing?

I’m sorry but, like all Americans, I only respond to color-coded panic alerts. Sorry, WHO, your numbers are meaningless. I recommend you designate the current panic level as purple and go from there.

Asked today about her attempt to link the flu to Democrats, Michelle babbled incoherently in an attempt to change the subject::

“Well, actually, I had a full, uh, conversation that I was having with another station — primarily about the economy, because that’s what we’re worried about right now,” said Bachmann. “And we had just found out about the swine flu at that time, the aggressive nature of how far it was progressing. So the real topic of conversation was on the economy, as it should be. The economy right now is at a situation where we’re not seeing the level of recovery that we would like to see.”
