If INS rounds up every illegal immigrant with a fake SS# working in a factory, beef processing plant or even restaurants, this country’s economy will slam to a halt. Raise your hand if you or your kids want to work in a beef processing plant…better yet, raise your hand if you want to buy beef processed in Mexico.

I’m not saying that I’m in favor of illegal immigration or law-breaking (not lately, anyhow), but I think that this is more the result of posturing than actually wanting to do the right thing. What we need is some sort of Federal amnesty program for hard-working people who’ve not committed any crime other than coming here ought to be given some consideration.

The “Get Rich With God” article was a fascinating look at crazies, as was the accompining one about the night club. I always wondered if that place sold booze. I think I’ll go in there some time just to gawk.
