West St. Paul, North St. Paul and South St. Paul are there own cities and not part of St. Paul. West St. Paul is actually south of St. Paul. South St. Paul is south east and North St. Paul is North East. East St. Paul is actually part of St. Paul but is called East St. Paul becuase it is east of the river even though it is more north.
