		<description>If I could go back in time, I&#039;d get an engineering degree but use it in a creative field (architecture, social software, consumer electronics, etc.). I&#039;m happy with my useless liberal arts B.A.&#039;s (three of them!) though.&lt;br /&gt;

There are probably dozens of NYC firms that match Cravath for associate base pay, but there are only a few Mpls firms that are on the same level as Dorsey/Faegre.  I am really clueless about financial issues, but I guess I would be surprised to know that very many associates -- outside of the major Mpls law firms and the IP firms (M&amp;G, Fish) -- earn over $100k.  &lt;br /&gt;
