If anyone saw Jeff Johnson photo lately, running for state AG, he looks like John Mark Karr. Both him and (Mark) Kennedy are the perfect images of a typical child molester on America’s Most Wanted. Damn! talk about ugly among young republicans, running for public office.

You people who hide in the "middle" are most likely just afraid to express their true views...for they know that if they speak the way they REALLY feel their true agenda will be revealed.

At least people on the Left are passionate and humanist instead of self serving and greedy like so many on the "Right".

I have my suspicions about you Dizzy, but I will remain civil.

Suffice to say I have no doubt you have a closet FULL of robes.

you’re really hung up on that ’slower than the bus’ thing aren’t you? it would offer an entirely different level of service than the bus and carry far more people than the bus. In this case capacity is more important than speed, and the central corridor is already over capacity with buses.

Plus, find me a busy bus route that runs on schedule during busy times of day (esp. rush hour) and I’ll be amazed. Trains operate more consistantly on-schedule than buses do, so while it might be slightly slower at off-peak times, odds are high that it will still be faster during rush hours than the 50.

1. Dirty people do ride the bus.
2. The state gas tax is 20 cents per gallon.
3. The dedication is phased in over a period of years to absorb the impact to the general fund.
4. A bad idea is to build a train for a billion dollars that is slower than the bus.
5. We are not headed down the road of dedicating money to other areas of the budget because, if I'm not mistaken, the issue of MVST allotment is already in the constitution. But I could be wrong. Hey, it's early. I'm not going to go about reading constitutions at 6:30 a.m.

Say MLH, ever hear of the gas tax? It's about a dollar a gallon. It's supposed to go to road construction and repair. So you see, drivers have every reason to believe that we are paying our way and pulling our own weight.

Gee, I never considered that before. Can I change my opinion?

Seriously, on your way to work tomorrow, think of all those terrible anarcho-syndicalist collective dollars that went into the road you're on. If you're still dedicated to twisting Adam Smith into some crackpot fringe ideology, you can just take the 394 toll road back and nothing else. Driving anywhere else would be another misguided vote in support of creeping communism.
