Did I mention that I want everything I say to be a link. I mean everything.
3:01 pm
Also, I just noticed he works for CBS and he only posts WCCO stuff.
3:05 pm
Glad you fixed the linking technique though. Linking everything is almost as bad as WRITING EMAILS IN CAPS.
3:08 pm
Did they also advise us that the sky is blue or that it gets very cold in the wintertime?

I’m with MLH. Who’s this reporter, anyway? Ric Romero?

WOW WE’RE BEHIND IN TRANSIT? NO WAII! I THOUGHT THIS WAS BOSTON OR NEW YORK OR SOMETHING!

OK SO I WATCHED THE VIDEO (BUT WITHOUT SOUND BECAUSE I’M AT WORK) AND THERE WAS A LOT OF DUMB SHOTS OF OTHER PEOPLE’S CAMERAS AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE (HUH?) BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT THAT THE HELICOPTER SHOT OF THE TRAIN PULLINT INTO FRANKLIN AVE STATION WAS PRETTY COOL.

I work for CBS and I almost never post my own stuff.

RE: Campaign to dissuade new people from posting on MNSpeask.
Great job folks! You’re executing the action plans to perfection.
Remember what we talked about in the meeting. MNSpeak is much stronger when 90% of the posts come from the same 12 liberal, creative types who work in the Twin Cities digital media & publishing communitties.
Keep it up! Go team!

Yeah Right! These bozos are going to tell the local folks out there to abandon their SUV’s and Jeep’s, in exchange for mass transit and instant enviromental policies. Sure. If only I believe in tooth faries and Santa Claus.
6:33 pm
Thank you, Russ.
8:58 pm
You’re right Russ. Sorry. Just got a little over sarcastic when I saw a guy working for my company blatantly shilling.
If anyone’s interested in transit: we’re doing a story at ten tonight about the proposed SW Metro Corridor. Should it go through Uptown or not? When will it arrive?
10:23 pm
Should it go through Uptown or not? When will it arrive?
It should. I pity the transit engineer who thinks otherwise.
12:11 am
No it shouldn’t because there’s a perfectly fine trail for it to follow right now that won’t cause utter chaos in one of the most utterly chaotic parts of the city. And because it should be about getting commuters to and from work, not getting us to Josi Wert.
11:22 am
yes it should, because if it just goes to west calhoun directly from downtown it will be useful only to the suburban asshats who live out west. if it goes through uptown it will get so much more use by people going from uptown to downtown and vice versa, not to mention suburbanites parking their cars for their super fun night on the (up)town.
Also, yes, because no one lives in uptown and commutes to downtown or anything. No commuters there! Don’t even start with the ‘but the bus is ok for them already!” garbage either. Then the bus is fine for the suburban jagoffs in EP too.

The twin cities better decide to add some serious mass-transit soon, the roads are getting worse everyday. I heard they were talking about putting a light rail between Minneapolis and st. paul, anyone know if that is true?
