Uptown’s only thriving biz is the Mac&Dons by day and the plethora of bar patrons at night. There are a LOT of vacant storefronts in Calhoun Square. If you want to meet a vast crowd of homeless and welfare folks then have breakfast at Mac&Dons. I do. I’m the ruggedly handsome bkfst eater usually seated with lovely gals.

the lagoon will be rebuilt in its current location…and it will have a lobby so you don’t have to freeze your balls off in line.

I heard it’s being built on the site of the Lagoon and that the Lagoon (or some move theater) will be housed in the new hotel… but I haven’t heard where the Lagoon will be while the hotel is being built! I guess we’ll just lose all those screens for a year??? That stinks.
