“Toast” is a little strong, don’t you think? They’re not even going off the air or anything (yet).

Chapter 11 is slightly over-browned toast that you can still eat if you smear enough butter on it. Chapter 7 is the burned to a crisp stuff you throw in the garbage. Air America is the former, but the toaster coils are still hot.

Why does Air America have to be “the liberal station”? The liberal label probably scares away lots of listeners. Other talk radio stations don’t bill themselves as conservative (even though they might be). Why can’t someone like Ed Shultz just move on over to normal talk radio? (some of their shows’ ratings are high enough to overcome the vast right-wing conspiracy…). Air America should just produce shows aired elsewhere.

btw I keep asking Indie why he hates partisanship while still pushing his party and positions, why he talks like a progressive but won’t support the dfl, etc, but he won’t answer. He also won’t strip or make out w/ the BK Chicken … whata rip.

This is why AA failed: Because liberals and democrats are smarter, more capable, and don’t need a daily reminder of what their values are and why they should hold them dear. Why anyone thought it was a good idea, I’ll never know. It was a bad concept from the start.

Gordon Liddy use to say on the air that we should shoot-to-kill Federal Agents in their heads; yet this was all related to the OKC bombing and Waco in those days. Now, its people like Savage and O”Reliy that do the same with G. Gordon, making outragous comments over the public airwaves such as inviting terrorist to blow up San Fransisco, 9-11 style, or advocating murder against liberals and their supporters. Oh, did I mention that these Klan freaks love to see Bill Clintion hang in public for treason, too?

Actually I think it’s good that they’re not very good at talk radio. The conservatives get the upper hand because to them, it’s all black and white, right and wrong. I’m right, your and idiot, and slam down the telephone. Liberal opinion is more nuanced.

It’s easy to be decisive when you’re operating from a set of principles. Without any such principles, indecisive becomes nuanced. heh.

I lived in Hollywood. Once of the most conservative towns I have ever lived in. Don’t mistake one or two loudmouthed actors and directors for an entire industry. Hollywood is not about liberalism, it is about profit.
