Well at least WCCO radio had finally dumped Palwenty's so-called "Lunch with the Guv" show, after several years of listining to partisan blowhard rethoric by this guy. Too bad the program itself couldn't live up to the same standards when Ventura was host back in the late 90s. And yet, Jesse was more fun than we got as Governor right now.

P.S.: I STILL miss Steve Cannon! Bring him back already! Save our image for God Sake!

If I were on the air, at least you'd know who I was, unlike you, Clement. And it would be pretty clear that I wasn't trying to get elected to anything either.

Why won't SOMEONE put Tom Bartel on the air? He could show us all how it's done and dazzle us with his intrepid political insights.

I'd rather listen to another man shit than listen to another pointy-headed academic tell me what their research tells them about the real world, which they haven't seen in 20 years.

Ahh, the "jez folks" factor kicks in. I know, instead of having one of them fancy pants book readers on the air, we should just put guys on who call some of the smartest people in the state "pointy headed academics" (what does that even mean anyway?). You guys really are the most engaging bunch of thought-provoking people I've ever listened to. So much better than someone who actually knows a little bit of something about anything they're talking about.

I want pure, unfiltered anti-knowledge.

grab someone from the Humphrey Institute

I'd rather listen to another man shit than listen to another pointy-headed academic tell me what their research tells them about the real world, which they haven't seen in 20 years.

All those pointy-head academics at the Humphrey Institute? Like Tim Penny (former congressman), Jay Kiedrowski (former State Finance Director and VP at Wells Fargo), Ali Galaydh (former Prime Minister of Somalia), and the variety of other former state politicians and former federal and international policy makers?

I thought most of the students at Humphrey were boring and not very bright, but the faculty was incredibly interesting and infomative. Many of them would be great on a talk show.

I think putting some milktoast politician on the air is a boring idea. WCCO should go grab someone from the Humphrey Institute or have a rotating guest spot (change it around every month/week/whatever).

Basically, when I think of really interesting radio, Rybak doesn't come to mind.
