The new Global Market at Lake and Elliot has the matches on a big screen. Plus you can eat ethnic food while you watch.

Not Mexican but at least they will most likely be showing the games in spanish.

Thanks for the info! I'm looking for where to watch the Mexico games. Called The Yukon and they didn't seem to know anything about it, but will probably check it out tomorrow anyway. I found a Strib article with some additional venues, such as Holy Land Deli, 2513 Central Ave. NE. I'm also pretty sure that Mapps Coffee (1810 Riverside Ave., on the West Bank) will be showing games.

Hey! What about St. Paul?!?? I want to see some matches downtown during the workday, but the only place I know for sure is Glockenspiel on West 7th, and that’s not exactly downtown. Of course, that’s probably THE PLACE TO BE if you’re a Germany supporter. Any ideas???

Wherever you go...please refer to them as MATCHES- not games! They play soccer matches. Calling them 'games' just shows that about all you know about futbol extends as far as Brazil=good, ManU and Becks.
