We used to use that interface- it sucks. We have an embedded flash player on our site now– love it. Works on all computers. ((I can’t see the KS vid on my old PowerBook))

I watch the news and I’m … maybe I AM old, I dunno. Anyway, this comment doesn’t fit anywhere else but Thursday’s KARE news at 6 was completely surreal as they apparently lost the ability to play back video for the final two-thirds of the show. Highlights included Pomeranz attempting to vamp while simultaneously attempting to listen to his earpiece – it didn’t work; the longest weather forecast (with slowest delivery) in the history of local news to fill space and Diana Pierce’s hilarious hand-drawn portrait of Barry Bonds to accompany the Shaver’s reading of the sports “highlights.” At least they got the clip of Hrbek fishing to run at the last minute, but I was DENIED my daily dose of SPEAKE. In retrospect, I should have preserved this broadcast digitally. Oh well, they’ll have another newscast today…
