-Wait, and drinking alcohol doesn’t already lead to its abuse? uh …
-SD has to resort to free gas to attract people … and I bet even that won’t work.
-Who can blame the MOA for wanting a free handout, I mean, the gub’ment is already balls to the wall about doing it for stadiums. Why shouldn’t they want a piece of the action?

I would define the crowd at the 331 Club as the “ultimate party tools.”

Alamn-
Flash from Centrisity talked with me briefly at the 331 Club yesterday and described the crowd as “left of Wellstone.”

Call me cynical, but I really don’t think not selling sodas will help kids’ health or hurt the beverage companies. Most of the “juices” they sell have only 10% actual juice, and even 100% juice can have just as much (if not more) sugar than sodas. And I’ve noticed that juices tend to be mroe expensive than sodas, so the beverage companies will get to charge more for their products.

Elizabeth, several school districts are going even farther. The Feds require a wellness plan as part of Title One funding, and some districts are only going to allow milk, water and 100 percent juice in the vending machines. And no, it’s not going to hurt the beverage companies at all, but at least those calories won’t be empty anymore.

re the GC thing — for discussion’s sake:

Had I realized Chuck was Chuck, I might have moved out of the way faster. My, what a large head I have.

DaveM, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: not everyone can get into Aveda!

Ah yes — but they can get into the U. Or at least they used to be able to.

We’ll always have MCTC …

We’ll always have MCTC …
Yeah. Well, my original discussion point was, should it be harder to get in to Aveda than it is to get in to the U?

depends on your major. I mean, I personally think hairstyling is more difficult than a business degree.
