Ever since Marty Sabo announced his retirement from Congress last week, DFLers with any sort name recognition who aren’t already in a race have signed up to run for his seat. I’ll miss Sabo — every time I’ve e-mailed him about an issue (several times per year I’m sure), he has responded with a letter. It helps that he always seems to agree with my position, but the individual attention is appreciated in it’s own right.
