Minneapolis’ most recent underrated band just got rated. Tapes n’Tapes are now aligned with the likes of Franz Ferdinand and The New Pornographers within the hallowed halls of Pitchforkmedia’s Best New Music category. They also made headlines today for their upcoming SXSW appearance in mid March along side fellow locals Hockey Night. Have you ever see them play their crazy Rock n’Roll?

No worries. Since the thread is here, I also noticed recently that Superdanger had an ad up on the Pitchfork front page, that must have been great exposure for them.

not to call attention to the smoke and mirrors but an ad is an ad. You pay for it. Not to say that Superdanger isnt good, I’m just sayin, its an ad.
