I wish they would take Hiawatha more seriously and add some cameras and traffic info. Otherwise, it’s pretty cool.

Actually, we've had something similar on wcco.com since it re-launched a couple months ago. Go to wcco.com/traffic. You can do real-time routing, see cameras, etc.

*sigh* My 12 mile commute to Evil Prairie was too much for weak ol’ me to do on the bike more than a couple of times. I have high hopes for this year, though.

There’s no traffic on my commute from Uptown to St. Louis Park on the Greenway/SWLRT. I ride but a few yards on Uptown streets, and once that long light at Hwy 7 and Wooddale changes, I’m pretty much home free — although one time a guy hit my bike with his Mercedes.

The bike’s rear wheel and his front license plate frame were the only real victims.
