Rex: The links on trashwhore make the pool much smaller, or are they just to throw us off? I’ve got it narrowed to 5ppl. Actually, I think it’s 2 or 3 ppl that do the posting.

I cant believe anyone would think a breeding kennel with 600 dogs is a good idea. I think Houles confusion is obvious when he compares the fecal output of 8 steers to the fecal output of 600 dogs. Dogs arent cattle. They are more intelligent, develop social hierarchies based on being members of small groups, and in the case of breeders, are produced to provide companionship for humans. You cannot properly socialize 600 dogs in such a large facility. And de-barking a dog so he cant express his fear, loneliness, or frustration in this kind of inappropriate living situation is like cutting off his legs so he cant run away. Its convenient to the owner, but unforgivably cruel to the dog.

That City Pages article on limo drivers is a lot like the pizza guy story from last year. A little exciting to hear about jobs that are more exiting than mine, but also kinda lame.

I didn't like the hipster piece either...but am I gross? Am I condemned by being 35 (and I have a job)?

p.s. Should a 35 year old be concerned about being called "gross"?
