A Red Bull-sponsored event in downtown St. Paul’s skyways on Feb. 8 will give 50 local riders the chance to prove that winter riding in Minnesota isn’t just about studded tires and those funny-looking balaclava face masks. Expect high speeds and sharp turns.

Does anyone know when they’ll be making the course public information so that spectators can find the best place to set up cameras?

Seattle used to, or perahps still has, a great bike ride called the Forbidden City Tour. Certain roads & highways were shut down for a day and cyclers got to ride on these areas that were normally car-only.
