The original Playlist893.com discussed back here in June.
3:04 pm
That is so hot.
3:15 pm
Nitpick: The previous version gave us “Most Played Songs”, “Top Artists”, etc. This one only gives us that info for a single day.
3:19 pm
Isn’t the following cumulative back to the beginning of the archive:
I assume they haven’t played Kate Bush 9 times already today. Granted, it won’t group by artist which I agree would be good to throw in there.
3:22 pm
Oops:

3:24 pm
Oh, maybe you’re right. Thanks.
3:24 pm
Which is interesting, because Amy Mann was the most-played last summer, and right now Kate Bush is in the lead.
3:29 pm
Small sample. Plus, the Kate Bush album was (or still is) their featured CD of the week.

What a fantabulous site. I am so far behind that I didn’t know about the old, defunct current archive. But I am delighted to know about it now!
4:45 pm
Thank heavens. And thanks for bringing it to our attention.

This needs to be done for Jack-FM (104.1) as well.
They NEVER say what the song is.
Commercials? Sure, they tell you upfront what those are.
Damn free-radio…
mumble mumble mumble.

I have a hacked up version of the konfabulator widget that persists to either a sqlite db or a xml flatfile.
How much longer till 89.3 goes digital with RD(b)S? Been promised Real Soon Now(tm) most of this year.
9:41 am
actually RDS is already enabled on 89.3, they’re just not utilizing it yet. kinda sucks but my new Honda Civic doesn’t have RDS anyway, oh well.

Full Disclosure – The submitter created this web site, so this is just a shill. Carry on.
11:07 am
I noticed that a couple hours after it was posted too. At that point, it seemed weird to remove it.
But on the off chance that anyone is trying to figure out the rules of what you can post — NO SELF-LINKING. If you created something that could be worthy of linking (this post is a great example), drop us a note and we’ll probably put it up.
1:04 pm
Yes, we submitted the website. Yes, we read the policies about no self-promotion. We didn’t think this one was out of line.
Since the person who called this out named themself “amazon pays,” I’m assuming he/she think we’re trying to make money by sharing the link. I encourage you to read the “About” page–we’re not trying to make a profit, just pay the hosting fees.
So I’d argue that this is sharing something useful, not self-promotion, but I do apologize, and I agree that the correct course of action would have been to submit the link instead of directly posting it.

Thanks Dan.

BTW, I’ve never really run the “rules of posting” by people on the site before. You must be logged in to see the rules, but if anyone wants to make any additional recommendations, they’re here.
