Knight Rider Is NOT For Sale

Here’s a fun fact: the PiPress has annual sales estimated at $100 million, leading the pack of local papers in the Knight-Ridder chain. Here’s another: even though the chain brought in a net income of $253.2 million dollars last quarter, they still might be sold to improve “shareholder value.” But even if the parent company is sold, say analysts, the St. Paul paper will almost certainly continue.

Actually, it’s Knight-Ridder.

But I asked Taylor after he posted it, and he said the malapropism (Knight Rider) was intentional.
