A few new things: 1) As you scroll through The Aggregator, you will now see some site names in red with a “MNspeak Profile” link next to them. I’ve basically synched up the registration profiles with the The Aggregator sites. 2) When you leave a comment or create a post, you can now click a checkbox that says “email me when new comments arrive.” To see the checkbox, you must be logged in and have an email address entered on your profile page. 3) If you click on the date in the calendar to the right, you now go to a page with just that day’s calendar entry on it. This is setting the stage for adding the ability to comment on calendar entries. If you see bugs on any of these features, let me know in the comments.

Looks good.
Side question: How do you decide who goes on the Aggregator?
I’m still…perplexed honestly at being a part of this. I somehow don’t feel worthy.

Oh, I pretty much put in blogs that a) I enjoy or b) I think other people will enjoy. Most local blogs make it, unless they’re of an overly-personal nature (general rule: baby pictures? um, probably not for everyone).

looking forward to commenting on the calendar entries, great idea.
How about a setting in the Aggregator to just view entries of MNSpeak members?

Can I recommend Admin Worm then?
There’s a link on my blog.

I noticed that the red markup goes away if you’re in alpha instead of chronological.

Ironic: I’ll add it in my next round of additions.
Scooter: Yeah, that one’s more complicated. I’ll try to fix it when I can.

Thanks Rex.
What ever happened to you leaving for MSN?

I’m working on the winter olympics site (NBColympics.com) through Februrary, and move to Seattle (MSNBC/Microsoft, not MSN) in March.

Also, the aggregator doesn’t really work in Opera. I can’t look at posts by topic. Not that it matters much, I imagine there aren’t too many of us who use Opera.
11:13 pm
Yeah, sorry, I have no plans to troubleshoot Opera. Firefox, baby!
Also, one more thing: I’ve recently added about 25 new blogs to The Aggregator. It’s neat to see all the people who have MNspeak profiles in there…

It’s a great site. What will happen when you go?

Still working that out, but I strongly believe MNspeak find resources that will do even cooler work in 2006.
