Can't be more predictable than yankees.
Enh, at least some good came out of it. Eventually.
If Hardy can find his form from two years ago it will be a fantastic trade. Go-go was at best a defensive center fielder. If he could have learne...
I agree. The Yankees are boringly predictable.
This is why the Twins are the Twins and the Yankees are the Yankees. Let's see, should we go for Hardy or Teixera? Hmmm.
I tink peraps it is te curc of Crist, Marybet414.
If I can c(h)ime in...I left the 'H' behind years ago and indeed there is no better way. The church of Crist... Bless you all.
I like the guy, but I have to admit he was a bit disappointing.
Just about every time we went to a game at the dome, you'd hear "fans" (quote marks emphasized) trashing GoGo loudly, which made me want to stand ...

I’m happy to say that I successfully completed NaNo last year…but this year, well, I’m floundering. Still, we have a great local community of writers. The write-ins, the message board and the process itself can be fabulous fun.

I register for NaNo every year, get started in some, but haven’t ever finished.
It’s the idea of “just do it!” that I like, plus I’ve met a few interesting people on-line through their forums.

I’m doing it and putting the results online as I do. I’m currently behind due to a family member in intensive care. However, it looks like things are going to be OK and I can pick it back up today and give it a shot for finishing and keep the TC in the top slot.

Cool, good job Sharyn. I tried last year, but fell behind one week and couldn’t catch up. Way too busy this November to even think about it.

Thanks Alexis. Now if I could just get around to editing last year’s novel…

It seemed the perfect time for me to do it… Until real life decided to up the ante on the rat race. Experienced NaNo writers will recognize the excuse and cop-out.

Naw, bland, reality does have a habit of intruding on our fiction. I’m using that copout this year too. And I’m pregnant so I feel more crappy than creative this year

I finished my first nano last year in Los Angeles and I must say the Twin Cities community is much more fun and supportive. I’m a little behind in my wordcount, but I’ll finish!

I’m 27,000 words in–I should actually hit 50,000 by the end of the month. Assuming all goes as planned. But you know what happens when you make an assumption–You make an ass out of you and umption.
At any rate, this is a testament to the community here in Mpls. It says something that we’re #1 in the world right now. And we’re totally pwning Maryland.

Yes, this is my first year doing Nano, and I am already at 94, 500. I would have to say that only one person in Maryland cheated and that the cheaters word count has been changed. Nano Wrimo is fun! It is not about racing to the get the highest word count. The race is only what some of us do to motivate us to keep on plugging away. For others, they do not race, because it does not motivate them. The rules are simple, whatever it takes for you to attempt to write a novel is fine. No pressure, it does not matter if you finish. It only matters that you tried. Most people do not even write a publishable novel. That does not matter either, because after finishing Nano, one usually has a very good start on a novel that with some tweaking can be publishable with out too much ado. But even more importantly, it is the satisfaction of knowing that you did it and the raise in self-esteem that comes with finally finishing something you started. This is what Nano is really about. Thank you!
