The upper-midwestern girls are staying alive on America’s Next Top Model — both Coryn (Minneapolis) and Nicole (Grand Forks, ND) are still in the competition. Tonight, the remaining pool gets chopped down to eight contestants. For anyone watching the show, do you think the local girls have a chance?

My love for Jayla has been well documented, but I thought from week one that Nicole has a chance. Coryn, well, the main buzz on her is she’s a man. But really, my money’s on Kim.

coryn’s eyebrows freak me out a bit – they are way too shaped. nicole is gorg but will probably get cut b/c of her personality – she’s a sweet girl, but a bit too sweet for the modeling biz. however – what was with the girl-on-girl action last week?! i’m surprised tyra didn’t comment on that during judging … i mean, tyra knows everything, right?

yeah, those things are nasty. personally i think Nicole is way too “girl next door”-ish. she looks like about a dozen girls from my high school.

Nicole’s face is broad and expressive and has a lot of potential. She will develop the ability to transform far beyond the girl-next-door.

My roommate watches this show, but I’ve only seen it once. Simon makes it sound so interesting; maybe I should watch it, too.

Nicole is soooo boring and Jayla is a witch. I think Coryn is beautiful. Just because she is strong doesn’t mean she’s a man. Why is everyone so threatened by a strong, exotic woman?

Has it ever crossed anyone’s mind that maybe they may be crushing a person’s livelihood here? It is so harsh and horrible that people keep harping on Coryn’s sexuality, who cares really, just stop it! And what makes it worst is that people love someone like Jayla who is mean and sneaky, I suppose that is what life has degraded to huh!
