I mentioned it yesterday in a comment, but it now seems ready for primetime: Personalized Aggregator. This latest extension of the Aggregator is basically a newsreader that allows you to customize exactly which of the the 200 local sources you want to see. You must be registered and logged in to use it.

The last place I expected to be debating this is here, but ColdFusion is awesome for certain things. In retrospect, the aggregator should’ve been written in Java… which in theory it still could be since CFMX sits on top of J2E now. (And, btw, the problem had nothing to do with it being CF.)
What really sucks is PHP.
