The Minneapolis Observer reports that an expansion of the Eat Street Flats, a Franklin Avenue housing and retail development that proclaims its “designers took inspiration from ZEN influences,” will sit and meditate on the last log cabin in Minneapolis, unless the building can be relocated. The Bloomington-based developers state that they are supportive of moving the 60-year-old log cabin on the corner of Franklin & 1st Avenue, but it falls to the Whittier Alliance to come up with the ways and means of executing the relocation.
