Have you been by Block E lately? The north side of the building now sports a giant Qwest Dex billboard featuring the Dex directory-man from their commercials. But he’s not actually in the billboard. He’s sitting on top of it. Which wouldn’t be weird, except it totally looks like he’s going to jump to his death.

I think that’s been there nearly a month, hasn’t it? When I first saw it, I wondered if the police got any calls from people with poor vision or from people who didn’t look long enough to figure it wasn’t a real person.

It’s been there longer than a month. I would venture to say several months at a minimum. A couple of us were strolling by the ole’ block zzz today and thought it would be better if they tethered the dexman and had him drop halfway down the building once a day. Better yet, make it a clock and have it yell out a random business name on the hour, as he fell to an impending doom.
