Secrets of the City

This is personally upsetting to me, because that’s where I do my shopping and wouldn’t mind seeing Scarlett IRL. I’ve seen Josh several times at Starbuck’s (also on Hennepin) and he was always driving an Audi, so it’s interesting (or, uh, well, noteworthy) that they’re driving a hybrid now.

I can’t read the Slanderous article (work computer won’t let me), but FYI, they were also at Bryant Lake Bowl on Tuesday night. Rex, just so you know, you’re not missing much: our hometown Joshy-poo is much cuter than Ms. Johannson.

Of all the things on this site to disagree with, I’m choosing the oddest one here, but… spacemanpete: there’s no way someone will ever convince me that Scarlett isn’t hot.

Ah, alright I won’t try to convince you — even though I do like a challenge. Although, to clarify, I didn’t say she wasn’t hot . . .

Obviously she wasn’t done up in her Alberta Ferretti dress; she was lookin’ pretty low key and easily blended in with the other faces at Bryant Lake. Though she couldn’t help but make those pouty faces as she chain smoked like an Excel Energy powerplant.

They were also at the St. Paul Punch and French Meadow over the weekend.

Heard through friend’s roommate: they also hit the Home Depot at the Quarry too.

Jeepers, that’s weird. Not only is it hard to imagine that either of them would be retiling the bathroom, he doesn’t even live over there!

I thought I was hallucinating on Monday when I rode my bike by Scarlett in a green bikini, on the Calhoun beach in ECCO. But on Wednesday, Scarlett was the shortstop and Josh the pitcher for the kickball team that my team was playing in Logan Park. And last night, they rang every doorbell in my apartment bulding while stumping around the neighborhood for Mayor Rybak.

Damn, I always pick the worst weeks to leave town.

I heard that just this morning at the McDonald’s in Columbia Heights, Josh was running the cash register, and if anyone answered “yes” to “would you like fries with that?,” Scarlett would personally assemble a hand-picked collection of what she considered to be the most aesthetically pleasing French fries.

Scarlett just finished mowing my lawn and she tried to turn down the $20 bill I gave her for my work but she finally accepted it. Overall the yard is nice but she could have done a better job trimming around the two large trees in the back and my porch.

i just saw Josh & Scarlett over at the Fetus.

Josh bought the LCD Soundsystem record on vinyl and Scarlett bought some Burt’s Bees products and some Nag Champa.

p.s. s4xton, that sounds about right. i heard she has trouble trimming around the bush.
