There is a certain period in the life cycle of the Twin Cities resident when breakfast suddenly matters. It begins a handful of years after college, when a few Saturday mornings previously reserved for sleeping off hangovers find the young urbanite waking up next to a date who shares her interest in coffee and newspapers, both as fresh as possible. It ends when young urbanites wake up Sunday morning pregnant with urban-mites. But for those of you in prime breakfasting age, there is a new website to act as guide and sounding board: TwinCitiesBreakfast.com. As yet, the content is sparse, so this is the perfect opportunity to write a review of your favorite diner and slyly end it with, “…though the smoke-filled room and lack of high chairs might turn off those seeking to dine with children.”
