Denied that refill on your prescription of Viagra today? In a devastating blow to “some people’s” sex lives, the state will no longer cover low-income patients’ prescriptions of Viagra as well as most circumcisions for baby boys and sex change operations. I can sort of see where circumcisions may be a fuss. But Viagra? Should the government cover the cost for men to get it up? And I didn’t realize our tax dollars were covering sex changes. Under what circumstances should the government cover the cost of a sex change? Circumcisions? Viagra?

Personally, I’m glad they’re no longer covering Viagra…until my birth control perscription is covered by insurance I think men should have to pay full price for sex too.
I’m wondering about the “low-income patients….” Does that mean the rich patients are still covered? Figures…

i think when they say low-income patients it means those covered under the government’s health plan. i’m surprised they covered viagra in the first place. guess we have to keep the population up some how = more viagra & no birth control pill.

Keep the population up somehow? Shameful.

I work in a hospital where one of my patients, a 16 year old gang banger on medical assistance was getting free Viagra. These are the people that should not be breeding.

Meanwhile, the morning after pill can’t get FDA approval. Sad.

*Bez* I would like to know the doctor that is prescribing Viagra to a 16 kid. That person should lose their license. It seems these days everyone calls for changes in laws when really even just basic enforcement of current laws would take care of the problems, (i.e. The Power Hour Drinking Law)
