Why, oh sweet lord why, are letters to the editor so bad? Newspaper people, can you answer this? Is there a screening process by which the most outraged, least intellegent letters only make it into print?
Submitted to the STrib: Alexandra Zayas’s piece on breaking into the world of BeautifulPeople.net was absolutely engaging! Anyone who thinks such a piece is “shallow” or “self-centered” must have esteem issues of their own to speak such criticism. Your intrepid intern looks great and she writes even better — I hope to “see more of her” in your newspaper!

And what is up with the lady just below that — she thinks that teachers shouldn’t be involved in a boycot of Walmart? Yeah, ok — why don’t I just shut up and teach your kid to be as big of a drone consumer knucklehead as you are. Hmph.
