You are all too hard. Norman is following the fine Minnesota tradition of representing special interests groups that was perfected by Hubert "Daley's Boy" Humphery and Walter " My Special interest is Special Interests" Mondale.
Norm promised after his election to try to appeal more to DFL politics - so if you look at it that way, he's doing a great job.

Hah. Voice of reason my ass... I find it funny that he lead the charge to dump Kofi Annan well before all the information was in, and now he's trying to protect Rove's greasy ass.

Does he realize just how much of an idiot he appears to be?

It seems that Norm Coleman has always been in someone's pocket - and not necessarily that of the voters of Minnesota. His is becoming a very old story in MN politics.

Mr Coleman may have signed on to the wrong team this time. It is very possible that Norm might pay in the elections for this and the other face-in-the-press antics that Bush & Rove Co. push him out for (UN-Kofi thing). [!] [!]

Who knows though. It is also very possible he will turn himself into a Democrat or a New Yorker again just before his current team bottoms out. [!]

Norm Coleman might be the original 'flip-flopper'... (Ask Randy Kelly more on that - he apparently kept better notes. [!])
This is when the partisan hackery will bite Stormin' Norman in the ass. Other than the financial and moral support of the natonal GOP, how is defending Karl in anyway a good thing for his re-election arsenal?
