Are our pending social laws going to stomp out creativity? Economist Richard Florida has declared Minneapolis-St. Paul the current U.S. hotbed for the creative class, or as he describes “people who think” in areas of business and arts. Great, right? And while his definitions are challenged, economists agree that if laws pass banning same sex marriage we may lose our creative class to a more tolerant Canada. Is this the verge, or the end of a new era for MSP? For the USA? What will the results of our “increasingly repressive environment” be years down the road?
