Stacia! It’s 2005! I think we’re all over the fact that only “punks, hippies and just plain gross concert goers” have “B.O issues.” I stood in that club with about 2000 other people, for about four hours, in June, with no air conditioning; heck, I had my own “B.O. issue” when I left. Face it: so did you.

Every time I’ve been inside a semi-crowded bar since the smoking ban, it’s been a repulsive and unpleasant experience. It’s not just the body odors, it’s the smells of spilled drinks and bleach. I’m going to have to start bringing nose plugs as well as earplugs to shows from now on. Good thing I already enjoyed drinking alone!

you can combat that by rubbing your upper lip with some CK1 or Drakkar Noir.

uh. don’t blame me, i totally showered before ted leo. yeah… some of them really stink but i’d much rather the dirty hippy smell to the cigarettes that cling to your hair any day.

Oh my god–I was just thinking that same thing last night at First Ave! With all the smoke, you never noticed all the B.O. issues of the punks, hippies, and just plain gross concert-goers.

totally true me and several of my friends have talked about it. the smoke did cover up other smells. wish there was something they could do but I guess decades worth of smoke ain’t gonna come of the walls and ceilings
