We just saw the movie Eagle vs. Shark. It was really good.

I’m moving really slowly today. But I have an iphone to play with now so I don’t care.

So way back in 2003, I went through a rash of stolen bikes. The first one showed up on Craigslist a week or two ago. The bike has a number of customizations identical to those I made, and I have the serial number as recorded by the shop that sold it to me, which the owner has admitted to being “close, but missing a few numbers” and hasn’t responded to further emails.

I’m not accusing the guy of stealing the bike (statute of limitations was up a couple months ago, anyway), and I have no use for the bike, but I want him to be straight with me. Thoughts, anyone?

He probably bought it at a pawn shop and now feels bad, but can’t afford not to make some money off the bike.

I shouldn’t call him the owner, but rather the possessor. If he did buy the bike from the pawn shop like he said, there should be a paper trail…

They are for 2009. At this point all you can do is establish your priority for the new stadium. They have released the seating chart and pricing but won’t be picking seats until I’m guessing this time next year.

This is my first year a season ticket holder (I’m hopefully splitting this with several other people; anyone interested in a 10th or more of a season ticket package?) and I am mostly doing it so I can get better seats in the new stadium. The priority system is fairly complex but I should be able to get 2 or 4 season tickets at Target Field in a decent area.

I ate at the Smokehaus in Canal Park last time I was there. Perfect for lunch. They have amazing sandwiches and will set up a picnic basket for you too.

We stopped in to the new “fancy” restaurant in the Fitger’s Complex. The wine list was terrible and they couldn’t make a drink. I don’t know about the food, but usually bad wine/drinks equals bad food.

The nearest lunch place I can think of is Trieste cafe, on 5th street between Nicollet and Hennepin. It happens to be one of my favorite lunch places. Go there!

There is another place right next door to Trieste, if for some bizarre reason you choose not to eat at Trieste.
