If only Kiffmeyer could save the day...

I propose scrapping this whole thing. Let's hold a special election in December, but not allow them to campaign anymore.

Or screw it... have Pawlenty appoint Barkley so it doesn't look like Ritchie is being partisan toward Franken and Pawlenty toward Coleman.

I dunno, I just want this wretched thing over with already. They both suck.

Did I miss something or is the present vote tally meaningless because there will be a hand recount?

These are the same people who swore up and down that nothing untoward was going on with the Florida vote in 2000, despite some very obvious attempts at handing over the victory to Bush.

Fritz Knaak, an attorney with Sen. Norm Coleman's campaign, said Tuesday that "perhaps 120 Coleman lawyers" may descend soon on each of the estimated 100 recount sites to be set up in each of the state's 87 counties and in large cities as the process gets underway next week.

Seriously? 120 Coleman lawyers per recount site? Or did Knaak make some poor word choices?

When will we see kwatt on the TV, participating in Minnesota's Brooks Brother's riot? "STOP THE RECOUNT!!"

Kerstan got all worked up over this the other day too.

Curious that NOW they get their panties in a bunch over the SOS office being a partisan office. They sure didn’t show such concern in Florida in 2000, or Ohio in 2004.
