Can't be more predictable than yankees.
Enh, at least some good came out of it. Eventually.
If Hardy can find his form from two years ago it will be a fantastic trade. Go-go was at best a defensive center fielder. If he could have learne...
I agree. The Yankees are boringly predictable.
This is why the Twins are the Twins and the Yankees are the Yankees. Let's see, should we go for Hardy or Teixera? Hmmm.
I tink peraps it is te curc of Crist, Marybet414.
If I can c(h)ime in...I left the 'H' behind years ago and indeed there is no better way. The church of Crist... Bless you all.
I like the guy, but I have to admit he was a bit disappointing.
Just about every time we went to a game at the dome, you'd hear "fans" (quote marks emphasized) trashing GoGo loudly, which made me want to stand ...

Roz Stendahl’s new blog.

I guess I’ll start. I’ve been hitting the Minnesota Historical Society’s Web page a lot — specifically, the section that accompanties their Minnesota 150 exhibition.
I’ve sort of been working on my own verison of this with my guide to the Twin cities, which consists of stories about the sorts of historic and cultural details that more dignified historians would overlook.
I have been mapping some of these things in Google Maps. I’ve also been mapping Twin Cities crimes and places in the Twin Cities that are supposed to be haunted.

I just tossed up a new tumblr. southtweltfth.tumblr.com.
A few other things I’ve seen lately that look great:
West Bank Shop. 13 artists are setting up shop on the West Bank in that old tobacco storefront for the next few months. It’s a very talented group, too, so that may prove very interesting.
David Peterson. David Petersen is co-chair at Art Of This Gallery in south Minneapolis, and his art blog, though intermittenly updated, is witty, provocative and usually hilarious.
The Masticator. Exceptionally well-written NYC-based blog by a St. Paul ex-pat with some local content.
Seemless Universe. Coleman Miller’s blog is always very worthwhile.
Kitsch & Cats & Papers & Aesthetics. Like the title says.

I should’ve linked to mine properly.

CultureBully.com is relaunching, with an expanded staff of writers and a really cool launch event tied to DonorsChoose.org to raise money for school music and arts programs. Look for it in mid-October… soon.

Andy, your father’s explanation of the financial meltdown is the most brilliant I have heard. Bravo to dad.
3:59 pm
Andy’s dad is obviously smarter than most commentators on TV.
4:03 pm
Dad is a pretty sharp guy. I don’t know why he doesn’t have a blog, come to think of it.

He does sound sharp. But he also sounds wistful about never having taken advantage of that “booze and broads around the world” scheme.

I’m starting up the “Pube Revue” blog to review peoples’ downstairs beards and moustaches.
