Lien’s story missed one of the more facsinating aspects about Eva Young…she’s a Republican!

They don’t seem to put much on line, so I’ll have to type it up later, but the Northeaster publihed interviews with the two candidates for the 50A seat (CH/Fridley/NB/SA). The republican was asked, if elected, what committees he would want to seek out. His response was: I have no idea. I don’t have a clue how any of this works. I’m just a regular American, not a politician.

Something of substance in the Northeaster? Almost makes me interested in reading it for once… but it looks so nice in with the recycling…

That’s actually nice to hear. A politician who doesn’t claim to have all the answers. I just hope he’s intellectually curious enough to go look into it now that he’s been asked the question.

Isn’t Bachmann well known for refusing to even acknowledge constituents that she believes may disagree with her? Kind of hard to meet the needs of people you refuse to even respond to.

I doubt it. He came across as a guy who doesn’t have anything better to do with his time, so he decided he’d run for office.
