Historically, Edina has equaled Republican. There has rarely been a more consistent area of the state that votes for Republicans, but the gradual shift is very evident this year, and it could become an all-Democratic year in the city known for representing the picture-perfect GOP stronghold.

If I was to guess why Edina’s going to go blue, I’d go with.
1. Wars are expensive and we don’t want to pay for them.
2. Our kids get asthma too. WTF is with all this air pollution?
3. We’re smart and we prefer having smart people running things. Lesson learned.

I sent Blois an email on this. I told him to keep an eye on the northern burbs as well. 51 and 51a both went Blue last election.

I blame/credit Minnesota’s open school districts. South MPLS is flooding Edina with lefties and their children.

Edina had better protect its borders soon.
