“The introduction by Kucinich was daring, but unlikely to go anywhere.”
Daring? What is this – the 19th time Kucinich has introduced this? The first time was daring – this time its a waste of time….

Ellison is a hack. George bush is an idiot who could not think his way out of a paper bag, with a flashlight, but for the love of god keith do somthing useful the while you are in office. The one thing that Bush and Ellison have in common is they both prove that the American people make mistakes when selecting a leaders.

The old swandog is back, old skool!
Yoshi has a point. Dennis the Impeachment Menace has become a bit of a joke. Now that the “end of an error” is just months away, the joke is even less funny. I see where the 11 members of Congress are going with this (symbolism, the historical record, and bashing Bush always good if you represent a true blue district as Ellison does), but I will agree with swandog that Congress could better focus its efforts right now.

I don’t get why there’s still no support.
It’s glaringly obvious both bush and cheney and plenty of their appointees have broken the law. Almost no one but them denies that anymore. Bush’s approval rating is so low and he’s the lamest duck imaginable that I don’t see why congress is still being such a bunch of pussies about this.
Maybe a couple years ago people would have gone “oh noes divisive politics!”
But right now, with the republican party trying really hard to distance themselves from him (even if they seem hellbent on continuing his policies), where’s the opposition to finally holding these fuckers accountable coming from? Nobody likes them, nobody will stand up for them. Isn’t it about time they pay for all the wrongs they’ve done?

They are busy trying to get re-elected, wayne. It is unlikely that they would have time before he leaves office, anyway, even if they were so inclined to do so, which most are not.

and so one of the biggest criminals of modern times walks.
what a beautiful system. I wonder if he’ll include most of his staff in his pardons when he leaves office?

You can count on it, wayne.
