Can't be more predictable than yankees.
Enh, at least some good came out of it. Eventually.
If Hardy can find his form from two years ago it will be a fantastic trade. Go-go was at best a defensive center fielder. If he could have learne...
I agree. The Yankees are boringly predictable.
This is why the Twins are the Twins and the Yankees are the Yankees. Let's see, should we go for Hardy or Teixera? Hmmm.
I tink peraps it is te curc of Crist, Marybet414.
If I can c(h)ime in...I left the 'H' behind years ago and indeed there is no better way. The church of Crist... Bless you all.
I like the guy, but I have to admit he was a bit disappointing.
Just about every time we went to a game at the dome, you'd hear "fans" (quote marks emphasized) trashing GoGo loudly, which made me want to stand ...

Beer advertising slogans that didn’t work:
Schlitz: It tastes just like it sounds.
Blatz: The beer that speaks its name

Schlitz: When PBR, veganism, striped tube socks and your frankenstein bike aren’t Indie-punk enough.

Vlog Santa’s pocket is a good place to look for Schlitz.

I know Al’s in SLP has it in bottles, but not sure if it’s on tap yet.

We picked some up at Zips. It was a good beer for a Sunday afternoon on a pontoon.

Does anyone know where I can get my Schlitz on?
If you really want to know where to find it, you could call your local distributor.

I prefer Old Style…

I’ll stick with He’Brew. It’s from the Smaltz Brewing Co.

er, we are still talking about beer, right?

My BF’s grandpa used to install Schlitz taps back in the day in Milwaukee. I guess his mom has a garage full of old Schlitz swag.

Trying saying “Schlitz swag” three times fast after a few swigs…

Ahh… memories.

The first time I ever felt a beer buzz was from a sip of Schlitz. Ahhh, to be 10 again…

Well, if I’m going to drink something cheap, I prefer Old Style…

But alie you have to give Schlitz a chance! It’s the old formulation!
It tastes like a mountain stream! (Giardhia free of course)

I cracked a few Schlitzes open at Nokomis Lanes last winter.

Picked up a 12 pack of Schlitz at Surdyk’s over the weekend. $9.99. Still have half of it.
One of the neighbors, who revels in cheap beer convinced me.
“It’s water, grain and hops, just like any other beer,” he said.
He’s right. Tastes like beer.

This is good news. I’ve been looking all over for this. I’ve looked ahead and over to the right, I just can’t find it anywhere but Mpls/St Paul

The flag pin is a nice touch.
3:31 pm
It is indeed. Are you allowed to fly with pins? I need to fly to San Francisco tomorrow and I’m not sure how to handle my beloved “McGOVERN ‘72″ button.
3:38 pm
Thanks. For personal reasons, I do not fly with pins. I had some time to kill between my flight, so I forged this with my blowtorch and hot glue gun while waiting.
3:43 pm
I just had a tasty plastic cup o’ Schlitz on tap at the Saints game in St. Paul yesterday.
4:06 pm
I thought you made better use of those layovers in the past, Senator.
5:08 pm
I was using my hot glue gun!!!!! What better thing to do whilst killing time at an airport?

I think I might like the old iteration of Schlitz better than the new-old version. The “just the kiss of the hops” is gone from the label and I think the hops went with it. Schlitz has been my favorite lawnmower beer for a long time now because of those hops. Oh well. Perhaps the steep increase in hops prices drove them to look at the older, less hoppy recipe and gave them a good idea…
