the Department of Homeland Security isn’t making me feel very secure. No amount of domestic wiretapping is going to help you fellas if you can’t even read a goddamned employment resume.

As I told kc, there should be a lottery for where she ends up next. I say contracting.

My guess is Gov Polenta names her the next head of MNDOT and Education Secretary and his lil somethin’ somethin’ on the side.

I hear she has muffin tops in her low riders…

She belongs working at mcdonalds as far as im concerned

She’s a bleeping life-long bureaucrat. What do you expect?

Heh, I’d say she’ll have to start sniffing around the private sector soon.

She will be a perfect consultant. She knows how to cheat the system, she knows how to talk the talk, she knows how to bullshit. Sounds like all the contractors I have had to work with.

Hey, wait a minute.

From the article:
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has fired Sonia Pitt, the former MnDOT emergency response executive who lost her state job for failing to return to Minnesota in the days after the I-35W bridge collapse.

No! She lost her job because that personal trip was paid for with state money. Misuse of funds is a bit different than not doing your job.

But write this down. Raindog, Berfus, and Maz agreed on something on this date! Groundbreaking!

maz- government contractors are people who want to be paid by the government, but don’t want to actually follow the rules it takes to work for the government.

And I’ve been lied to enough by condesending contractors to have a very strong opinion. I just hope that my next experience is better. We are putting together a Request for Proposals right now.

I’ll put money on her working abroad.

No, she’ll stay in the DC area, if she is still has her love buddy that is …

yeah, let’s see here … I’m thinking her FHA lover probably snagged her a DC job after she got the boot so they could … do whatever it is ugly people like them do that I don’t want to think about or picture. it’s not unthinkable that the DHS would hire someone based on a word from another bureaucrat and only sorta look at their resume (oh, look! worked for a DOT! that’s nice, you’re hired)

I mean if you get fired in a major scandal you don’t exactly throw that up on your resume, and I have a feeling people hired on the recommendation of some high-level bureaucrat don’t exactly get a thorough interview or much scrutiny. yay for patronage jobs!

Isn’t there some slogan about D.C. being New York for ugly people?

That’s okay, she’s been fired from that job, too.

Exactly 11 hours 59 minutes late on that comment.
