Torching vans for the handicapped. Some sick freaks out there.
7:27 am
As for the fire at the hog confinement. Not a good way for any animal to die.
7:48 am
Darn. I really wanted to find that helicopter door, and keep it as a memento. I’ve flown in one of those big boys.
8:31 am
Now that I have seen Billy Bob the homeless goat, I want to adopt him. No more mowing!
8:49 am
I second Bob’s idea but I’ve already cooked up a way to save on my mowing costs, I only mow the lawn every 10-14 days. It’s already dry so it isn’t growing much.
8:49 am
speaking of, has anyone had the bacon cocktail they are serving at Town Talk Diner?
9:02 am
This has got to be a blow to Triple Rock’s ‘Bacon Night’!
9:28 am
It has been so dry, I haven’t mowed in nearly three weeks. Could I get a little rain or so.

Morning weather report… Raining in EP
9:35 am
I am with lunch. It has been weeks since I mowed. My yard could use some of that rain…

The National Guard should drop a helicopter door every once in a while and give a prize to the person that finds it. Kind of like the Winter Carnival Medallion hunt.
I’m like some kind of marketing genius over here.
9:44 am
That is kinda brilliant, miller.
9:48 am
The Minnesota National Guard tried tying down its helicopters so nothing else would fall off in flight. That didn’t work out too well.

Figures. It was supposed to rain (TSs) yesterday, so I drove. Today, I bike, and it’s probably going to rain.
9:53 am
It’ll probably be done raining by the time to bike home. At least that is what I’m hoping…

no, but I made my own bacon infused bourbon, just finished straining it out last night. tried it side by side with just plain old Jim Beam neat. It could have been my method or ratios, but the bacon bourbon came out a tad too porky. I prefer the straight bourbon. I would say if you must combine bourbon and bacon, baste your bacon with a little bourbon and perhaps some real maple syrup as you cook it.

Are MNSpeak titles turning into Fark headlines?

I’ve made smoked malt beers, and for my money they taste more like the bacon flavor you would want in a beverage. Sweet and just a touch of that smokey flavor, wish I had some now.

If you like very good bacon and ham, and like it mailed to your home, try:

I like burger’s smokehouse for their jowl and country hams.
1:04 pm
Pork on an open flame; no good.
Now is if the barns (and surrounding Hickory grove) would have burned for 8 hours at about 220 degrees, I’d be there with vinegar sauce and coleslaw in a New Braunfels minute.
1:14 pm
New Braunfels = Smoked Beef, preferrably brisket or ribs, possibly sausage. you’re describing more of a Carolina phenomenon.
