" How about a roadmap?" reading a map while driving is no better than texting.

They could have made a compilation video like that with just my wife's driving but it would have exceeded YouTube's duration limit.
And yes, Maz, it was a woman parallel parking and talking on the phone at the same time.

And this is just another reason why bus drivers deserve more than a 1% raise.
11:48 am
How in the world is the Star Tribune a blog? Even Minnpost and the Independent are online news. Maybe I’m missing something though.
11:49 am
Whoops. That’s local news.
1:11 pm
As a bus driver’ amen to that. Some gang banger punks were talking trash to of last friday.
1:12 pm
I don’t know what that means.
1:16 pm
I think that was bus driver jive.
1:18 pm
Wait, berfus is a driver? No way.
And he changed his name in his profile. I thought we had to have real names, max?
1:20 pm
Nope. I think that’s a holdover from the Rex days, although I don’t remember.
1:21 pm
And I think he’s on acid. his last two posts have been complete nonsense.
1:23 pm
I think he may be typing from a smart phone. The last few comments look like some of my text messages.
1:30 pm
I think he may be typing from a smart phone
Do they sell a dumb@#!* phone? ’cause I think he’s got one.
1:31 pm
Now, be nice. He’s new to mnspeak.
1:32 pm
I know, I know. My wicked online snark makes the newbies cry and flee. Stay, Berfus, stay!
I’m not through with you yet….
1:37 pm
Now, be nice. He’s new to mnspeak.
Well, he’s new to registration. He could’ve been posting as just about anything prior to “registration day”.
1:39 pm
Yeah i meant ‘talking trash to me ‘ of and of are me are on the same keypads. Plus i wolf up about an hour ago only getting five hours sleep so please bear with me
1:39 pm
True. We’ll give him the benfit of the doubt, though. He’s definately not Binky, which I think someone suggested.
1:40 pm
And I also have a hard time wolving up.
1:42 pm
I haven’t wolved up since my Cub Scout days…
1:43 pm
I hate wolfing up. It is unbearable. Rowr.
1:48 pm
Dang it! I mean i just got up ignore the wolf in my post
1:49 pm
Now, how are we supposed to ignore a wolf? It just wouldn’t be safe for us to do so.
1:50 pm
Dang it, now I’m hungry like the wolf…
1:50 pm
Its too late Beefus. We smell blood… either have a sense of humor about it or deal with it. Just don’t go showing your wolf fangs or I’ll get my stake out.
1:51 pm
Just don’t look the wolfer in the eyes. And aren’t you suppose to roll up into a ball or something?
1:51 pm
Don’t worry, Berfus. It’s a perfectly normal ocelot anyone could make.
1:51 pm
Great, now I have Reel Big Fish’s ska version of Hungry Like the Wolf in my head. Thanks a lot.
1:53 pm
Plus i wolf up about an hour ago
1:54 pm
Just don’t go showing your wolf fangs or I’ll get my stake out.
You would have better luck getting your steak out, throwing it at Berfus, and running like heck.
That’s how I always deal with werewolves, anyhow.
1:55 pm
Dang cell phone
1:55 pm
good point Bob-o. I just wolfed down a roast beast sammie from JJ’s.
1:57 pm
Your cell phone may be lame, Berfus, but your hair is perfect…
1:58 pm
Berfus really greased the dolphin on this thread!
1:58 pm
It’s a veritable parade of wolves here…
2:01 pm
I thought only silver bullets worked on werewolves? I’ve heard of wolfed down, but not of wolfed up so I’m a tad confused. Hurl or puke or blow chunks or barf is what I know.
2:01 pm
I’m having a howling good time this afternoon.
2:03 pm
I thought only silver bullets worked on werewolves?
My bad. This is one instance where I agree a gun would come in handy.
Are vampires the stake thing I’m thinking of?
2:04 pm
Wolf up is the alternative used in timber country for the western saying cowboy up.
2:04 pm
We should all clap for the wolfman!
2:05 pm
Wait, how did this thread end up about werewolves. Man, whoever derailed this thread did an impressive job.
I love when MNSpeak threads function like a game of “telephone”.
2:05 pm
Better a wolf parade than a wolfmother. That shit is ridiculous.
2:06 pm
Yes. The living dead can also be killed by beheading and exposure to sunlight. Some have difficulties with running water and religious icons.
2:08 pm
Even a man who is pure in heart, and says his prayers at night…
2:09 pm
Zombies are something totally different.
2:15 pm
Do you remember the Wolf-Themed Band Name Explosion of the Mid-’00s? I do, son, I was there.
Wolf Colonel were twee-ish and sounded like a K Records band (which they were). Scuzzy, mildly disagreeable kids liked Wolf Eyes for awhile (they were from Detroit, I think). There was a We Are Wolves in there somewhere (kind of electronic-ish, I think). None of them were like Guitar Wolf, who are from Japan (and how!). I recall a twee little fellow from my days as a music writer calling himself Peter and the Wolf (very soft music, I think). Seeing the Canadian band AIDS Wolf in 2005 made me nearly abandon rock music in favor of knitting, they were so terrible (they put out an album that had pictures of their respective wangs/boobs in the liner notes).

MN Independent: Woman tied to PZ Myers death threat fired
The apology by the womans husband for sending the email from her account is priceless.
However, I think it is his duty to repair the damage that he and his associates have achieved through their concerted and organized campaign to punish both Melanie Kroll, and 1-800-flowers, who were completely blameless in this matter.
Later near the end of his super ramble he says that be might beat his (PZ) head in if he had the chance he just has never done that before.
2:24 pm
Guitar Wolf were awesome, and predate the wolf name explosion of the early aughts. They starred in a zombie movie called Wild Zero. But Bass Wolf died… I think they are now defunct.
2:30 pm
Andy..you missed the canadian heavy metal band White Wolf from the early 80’s.
2:30 pm
Wild Zero is something, alright. You’re right, they do predate the explosion.
They were more like wolf-name forefathers.
Them and, uh, Peter Wolf of the J. Geils Band. Freeze frame!
2:32 pm
Wild Zero made me fall in love with Japanese horror films all over again.
2:32 pm
How could I forget Peter Wolf from the J. Geils Band?
2:35 pm
Whatever you do Jane, do not click this link about being hungry like the wolf…
2:39 pm
I did my fair share of cowboying up when I lived out west. But for some reason I don’t my definition was what you meant.
2:42 pm
If anyone wants to start a Werewolf Meetup group in Minneapolis, there are 27 people waiting to join.
2:43 pm
@Cat… ha!!
2:46 pm
Live, from the Kirby Ballroom in Duluth, “The Werewolves Will Protect Us,” as perfomed by Sequoia.
2:53 pm
I cannot bear all this wolf talk!
2:55 pm
I’m sorry. If you value your sanity, you won’t click that link…
2:59 pm
I’m old school with my bears, douglas.
3:11 pm
Black Wolfs act like this and White Wolfs act like this
3:14 pm
DouglasG that should have been marked as NSFW. I just screamed out loud from the scariness of that damn bear.
3:16 pm
I apologize. Definitely my bad!
3:42 pm
Speaking of bears and Hamms, try this out. Could be MNspeak’s new theme song?
If the link doesn’t work, I’ll try another route. You need to hear this song.
3:53 pm
So, can anyone link this back to any of the four topics of in the post? I’m just curious to see how y’all would do it.
3:53 pm
It’s like coolsville daddio! Selling beer to young adults is like where it is at!
3:56 pm
You know if that werewolf hadn’t been drinking, he would not have used his wife’s account to threaten PZ Myers, and then attack those Metro Transit drivers while the SWAT team was practicing their tactics on his house. Damn you Hamms beer!
3:58 pm
Yeah i meant ‘talking trash to me ‘ of and of are me are on the same keypads. Plus i wolf up about an hour ago only getting five hours sleep so please bear with me

One simple typo and let the tangents ensue! My beer reference needed no tie-in since I’d say catchy beer jingles are always apropos.
3:58 pm
Selling beer to young adults is like where it is at!
Way cooler than emailing threats on your wife’s computer at work (there ya go, Bix!)
Incidentally, yesterday I was at a big work thing and I noticed next to me was DougieG. I never met him before but we wear name tags.
4:05 pm
It is indeed a small world.
4:26 pm
Lmao at the lay over stop!
