Actually, I have met with Al a couple of times. Once at an energy forum in Mounds View and again at a teacher’s convention in Saint Paul. Seems like a nice enough fellow.

what kevin said. I haven’t RTFA, but i saw a commercial, and on its surface it’s just such an embarrasingly naive and undercooked idea on Franken’s part that it’s embarassing. plus, if you were to do that, you’d no longer get the best and the brightest running for congress.
