That MinnPost thing is ill-conceived.

Mall of America played a part in putting this backwater on the map, despite what they say. You don’t have to go there, but you don’t have to sniff at it, either.

Forget Kirby Puckett’s death: Why?

I think Kirby Puckett’s Death entry is a lot like the entries regarding how many people died in each of the wars–something we would have preferred not to have happen.

Certainly that kid you tried to sell his vote online would like to forget the moment he came up with that bad idea.

I trust my fellow MNspeakers will understand the distinction between what this guy did, which is illegal, and my online request for a surrogate voter in the caucus, which offers no options for absentee ballot (unlike Maine’s caucuses, which does). My request was focused on registered voters who had not intended to participate in the caucus, and there was no money involved.

My offer had no takers, BTW.

Of course, you don’t want to have it happen; but that’s not the same as wanting to forget it.

The Strib map would be more useful if you could just see the 4th of July Fireworks locations all at once. I don’t know where we’ll go.

I will be sitting in my front yard for fireworks. Aquilla park in SLP is 2 blocks from my apartment. Yay for not having to fight crowds and search for a parking spot!

so yeah I had a bunch of people over and a freaking awesome view for fireworks. friday was a good night.

ps, hey suburbs! I could see all your suburban fireworks shows on the horizon from my roof, and then the minneapolis show up close.
I get the best of all worlds! suck it!

It’s too bad about all of this terror, sadness, dismay, destruction, and heartbreak.

That being said; Why would we want to forget the final North Stars game, seeing that it’ll most likely used to push another phoney rivalry? How many “intense rivalries” does The Wild have anyway?
